The Middle East and North Africa Climate Week (MENACW) will take place from 28 February to 03 March 2022, hosted by the Government of the United Arab Emirates (Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, World Green Economy Organization and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) and jointly co-organized by the Core Partners (the UN Climate Change Secretariat, the UN Development Programme, the UN Environment Programme, the World Bank Group) and the Partners based in MENA (the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, the International Renewable Energy Agency and the League of Arab States Secretariat).
The Action Hub is a platform for non-governmental organizations, intergovernmental organizations, youth organizations, and educational institutions to showcase their work. Organizations can either participate virtually by submitting a pre-recorded dynamic and entertaining video or in-person by having an actual event. The timeslots for in-person events are 15-30 min. and provide organizations with the unique opportunity to bring their initiative, big announcements, new case studies, and great interviews to the Regional Climate Week
All events must contribute to the Regional Climate Week discourse and align to one of the three themes.
Organizations with shortlisted proposals will be contacted for further processing.
